Donald TrumpSlide 1In Trump’s Inaugural Address, he says:”It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag.”Slide 2Unlike Trump’s adversary, Hillary Clinton, he has had not a single experience of political history. Hillary has been the Secretary of State, and the first lady. Trump’s candidacy for president should have been easy to beat because of his lack of experience, according to CNN, and the left. When Trump reached 270 votes, it surprised everyoneBefore his candidacy, Trump was a real estate man, businessman, and a reality star. (Who has seen Home Alone 2?) Slide 3Trump said in his campaign “I will build a great, great wall on our Southern border and I’ll have Mexico pay for that wall.” There have been 8 prototypes made since his election. All over the country, over 2 Million have had a “Trump Pay Raise” a direct result of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.President Trump’s tax reforms provide $3.2 trillion in net tax cuts to American families, with every income group seeing a tax cut. Because Trump was a businessman, he knows how the government is way to involved on taxing businesses. His tax cuts will cut down on the impositions the government agencies are putting on businesses. Many corporations like AccuWeather, and Comcast gave thousands of dollars on bonuses; even Wal-mart has raised its minimum wage to $11 per hour.Trump most recently called for ending chain migration after a Bangladeshi man who tried to bomb the New York City subway was found to have come into the country in 2011 on a visa for children of siblings of U.S. citizens.Slide 4Mike Pence was the former governor of Indiana, and a former lawyer. He graduated from Hanover College, and earned a law degree from Indiana University. He initiated the largest tax cut in Indiana’s history. He positioned himself as a conservative and is in favor of the Tea Party Movement. On February 7, 2017, Pence made history by becoming the first Vice President, in his role as president of the United States Senate, to cast a tie-breaking vote to confirm a Cabinet member. He cast the deciding vote to break a 50–50 tie to confirm Betsy DeVos as the Secretary of Education. As of December 2017, Pence has cast six tie-breaking votes, including defunding Planned Parenthood. Slide 5Huffpost released a prediction of 98.2% likelihood of Hillary Clinton winning the 2016 Election.Clinton did win the popular vote by 2.9 Million more than Trump. Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida were all vital in building Trump’s coalition of states, giving him 75 electoral college votes towards his eventual total of 306. Had Clinton won these states, she would have been elected as the next US president.Slide 6The strike was the first combat use of what is formally named the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast, MOAB or “mother of all bombs. This bomb was the most powerful non nuclear bomb ever used. “What I do is I authorize my military,” Mr. Trump said after a meeting with emergency workers at the White House. He called the bombing “another very, very successful mission.” “We have the greatest military in the world,” Mr. Trump said. “We have given them total authorization, and that’s what they’re doing, and frankly, that’s why they’ve been so successful lately.” Trump did promise in a campaign speech in 2015 to “bomb the shit” out of ISIS, and he seems to be living up to his word. ISIS controls a significantly smaller territory in Iraq and Syria. Trump came into office pledging a military buildup, including thousands more troops, dozens more ships and at least 100 more combat aircraft. His administration proposed a $603 billion defense budget, about $575 billion of which was for the base budget. Slide 7The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act repeals the Affordable Care Act’s tax penalties for those who don’t get insurance. On January 11, 2018, it allowed states to impose work requirements on Medicaid recipients. It shortened the enrollment period, and closed the federal exchanges during peak times during enrollment.Trump said he would reduce the debt by eliminating waste in federal spending. Slide 8Trump tweeted “I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man. Save your energy Rex, we’ll do what has to be done!”Trump also tweeted “North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”Vladimir Putin has sought Donald Trump’s broad endorsement for his plan to bring the Syrian civil war to a close on largely Russian and Iranian terms, after the defeat of Islamic State and the repeated pushbacks of Syrian rebels.Slide 9After September 11, 2001, the federal government established a sweeping surveillance program within the older structure of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), also called Section 702. This provision allows the National Intelligence Agency and the Department of Justice to monitor the communications of non-Americans outside of the country without a warrant from a FISA court. Authorization for this program ran out at the end of 2017, and was continued in stopgap form for several weeks, until Congress could pass this bill, which reauthorizes it through 2023. This bill makes it easier for veterans to obtain commercial driver’s licenses to get work in the transit industry. It does this by widening the scope of people at Veterans Affairs facilities authorized to give them a required medical examination and allowing them to count their time spent driving vehicles in the Armed Services towards their commercial vehicle driver’s test.Slide 10″Since my election, Ford, Fiat-Chrysler, General Motors, Sprint, Softbank, Lockheed, Intel, Walmart, and many others, have announced that they will invest billions of dollars in the United States and will create tens of thousands of new American jobs,” According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are currently 50,800 coal mining jobs in the United States, 800 of which have been added since January, when Trump took office”The reason our stock market is so successful is because of me. I’ve always been great with money, I’ve always been great with jobs, that’s what I do. And I’ve done it well, I’ve done it really well, much better than people understand and they understand I’ve done well.” Donald Trump tweeted, The U.S. has gained more than 5.2 trillion dollars in Stock Market Value since Election Day! ICE agents arrested 13,914 people last month, following a trend since President Trump took office in January and his campaign promise to crack down on illegal immigration. In the final three months of the Obama administration, ICE averaged 9,134 arrests per month. That number has steadily increased under Trump, with the agency averaging 13,085 each month from February through June.ISIS has lost 98 percent of the territory it once held, having been recaptured since President Trump took office less than a year ago. The latest American intelligence assessment says fewer than 1,000 ISIS fighters now remain in Iraq and Syria, down from a peak of nearly 45,000 just two years ago.Slide 11When it comes to the use of his Oval Office power, President Donald Trump has boldly gone where no president has gone before. He ignored complaints of nepotism to hire his daughter and son-in-law as top White House advisers. He walked past calls to divest business holdings or reveal his personal finances. He’s used his Twitter account almost daily as an unfiltered way of putting his opinion into the social media. He also said, “We’ve been living with an office that’s not built for the 21st century,”Slide 12″We have done a job like no administration has done,” Mr. Trump said of the measure, which dramatically cuts corporate tax rates, and also contains cuts for individual taxpayers. “I want to thank all of the leaders, I want to thank Mitch McConnell, I want to thank Paul Ryan,” Mr. Trump said, flanked by Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson Rex Tillerson and Secretary of Defense James Mattis.Price’s departure came as he’s being investigated by the department’s inspector general for using private jets for multiple government business trips, even to fly distances often as short as from Washington to Philadelphia. The cost for the trips ran into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
